Meet Chelsea, our passionate Founder and dedicated military spouse. Her personal experience of being separated from her husband, who serves in the U.S. Air Force, inspired the creation of Family in Flight. As a loving mom to four children and three fur babies, Chelsea’s journey fuels our mission to reunite military families. Join her in making a profound impact by bringing families together! 

Meet Delaney, our Vice Chair and a proud member of the Family in Flight Board of Directors. She understands the challenges of military life and is passionate about helping families make the most of their moments together. When she’s not giving back, Delaney enjoys baking, spending time with loved ones, and spoiling her French bulldog, Lola. Join her in supporting military families everywhere!

Meet Chris, our Legal Counsel and Board Member, who brings 40 years of legal expertise to Family in Flight. A former U.S. Marine Corps Judge Advocate General and Assistant U.S. Attorney in Hawaii, Chris has dedicated his career to service and justice. His military reserve experience, including as Staff Judge Advocate for the Hawaii Air National Guard, connects him deeply to our mission. Beyond his work, Chris is a proud husband, dad, and an avid golfer, surfer, and CrossFit enthusiast. 

Meet Kelsie, our Public Relations guru with over five years of experience in communications and marketing. As the wife of a U.S. Air Force veteran, she understands the sacrifices military families make, making Family in Flight’s mission deeply personal to her. Joining our board allows Kelsie to give back by using her expertise to support families in need. We’re grateful for her dedication to helping us make a difference, one family at a time.

Meet Kim, our Treasurer and a dedicated mother to three adult children. With a background in finance and accounting, she transitioned to being a full-time stay-at-home mom while actively volunteering with the school PTO and other community organizations. Kim’s passion for giving back and making a difference drives her commitment to Family in Flight. We’re thrilled to have her on our team, helping us support military families.

Meet Yobi, one of our dedicated Board Members and a proud husband, father, and dog dad to two pups. As a U.S. Army veteran, he’s deeply passionate about supporting #militaryfamilies, having experienced the challenges of separation firsthand. Yobi loves traveling and embracing new adventures with his family. His dedication and personal experience make him an invaluable part of our mission to keep military families connected.
